At Cinder & Smoke Candle Company, our story began with a simple intention: to spend meaningful time together.

My daughter and I were looking for a way to slow down and truly connect while she was home on leave from the military. We’ve always shared a love for scientific reasoning, understanding how things work, how elements come together, how small details create something bigger.

One day, she suggested we try making candles.

What started as curiosity quickly became something more.  More than a love for beautiful fragrances. As a headache and allergy sufferer myself, I often found that many candles were simply too overwhelming to enjoy.

My goal became deeply personal: to create candles that people could truly enjoy, even those who normally avoid candles because of headaches, sensitivities, or allergies.

That mission still guides every candle we pour today. We carefully choose luxury coconut apricot wax, clean fragrance oils, and high-quality ingredients to create a cleaner, more enjoyable experience for the home.
